The CP4 high-pressure fuel pump is one of the most well-known failure points on the 6.7L Powerstroke. When a CP4 pump begins to fail, internal metal debris can be circulated throughout the high-pressure fuel system, often resulting in catastrophic damage to the injectors, fuel rails, lines, and other critical fuel system components.
